Offered is a Rawlings Pro-2BF fielder's mitt likely dating to circa Lee Smith's 1990 season with the St. Louis Cardinals. Number "47" written on thumb in black marker while Smith has also signed the glove along with a "To Jamie" inscription. PSA/DNA hologram P98346 also affixed. Available images show Smith wearing a glove similar in style to this one during his tenure with the Cubs, though he wore number 46 in Chicago. He first wore number 47 with the Cardinals in 1990 & then with a number of teams following throughout the 1990's, though available images from this time frame show him wearing a black glove exclusively.
