Offered is an unscored game program from the St. Louis Browns August 19th, 1951 doubleheader against the Detroit Tigers at Sportsman's Park. Game is notable for one of Browns owner Bill Veeck's most famous publicity stunts, sending midget Eddie Gaedel to bat to lead off the second game of the twin bill, with Gaedel & his uniform number (1/8) printed on the player roster with the rest of the Browns to commemorate the occasion. Original owner has also written "August 19, 1951" on the cover of the program which remains in good overall condition with some discoloration, a crease running horizontally along the top edge of the cover page and minor border wear.
