1972-74 circa Pittsburgh Steelers Game Worn Helmet (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a Pittsburgh Steelers helmet dating to the team circa 1972-74. Interior features a 12 strap Riddell suspension system stamped with size 7 3/8 plus a 1972 date wheel stamping on the shell while the exterior features Franco's uniform number 32 affixed in white decal numerals to both the front & reverse. MEARS could not verify attribution to Franco Harris. Additional letter from Lou Lampson will also attend who attributed the helmet to Harris. Moderate wear shown with three broken facemask clips.
