Featured is a Harvey Kuenn professional model Adirondack game used bat from his 1959 campaign with the Detroit Tigers. Model number 135A is stamped on the knob while Kuenn and 1959 All Star are stamped on the barrel.
This ash bat currently weighs 34 ounces, measures 35" in length and matches known player factory records with a regular knob and round barrel. It exhibits signs of moderate use with ball marks, bat rack marks and cleat marks. End of the barrel, center brand and all lettering have undergone restoration. Handle remains uncracked.
Bat receives 5 points for matching known player factory records, 2 points for use, 3 points for the All Star markings and loses 2 points for the restoration resulting in a final grade of MEARS A8.
