Offered is a professional model Stan Musial H&B Louisville Slugger dating to his tenure with the St. Louis Cardinals circa 1943-49. Model M117 stamped on knob while Stan has signed the barrel in black marker with a "HOF 69" inscription. Bat currently measures 33.5", weighs 33.5 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, handle tape/residue and a cracked handle. It should also be noted that this is the scarce small signature model & has a sawed off barrel end. Barrel end has been cut and the length has been refinished. PSA/DNA hologram 1B12277 affixed to barrel's end. Final Grade (MEARS A6): Base grade of 5 points for bat matching H&B factory records, 3 points for use, minus 2 for cut barrel, refinish, and unconfirmed tape on handle. (04F0096)
