Offered is a St. Louis Browns uniform likely originating from a 20th Anniversary Reunion of their 1944 World Series team. Jersey is a Rawlings size 46 with "Galehouse 64" embroidered on the tail along with a Set 1 1964 tag sewn inside the tail while "Browns" & number 30 are also sewn to the cream flannel jersey. Denny Galehouse picked up the victory in the first game of the 1944 Fall Classic for the Browns, allowing one run over a complete nine innings. Pants are a Rawlings size 42 & feature a "Hofmann" name tag, likely for Fred Hofmann who served as a coach for the 1944 Browns. Rounding out the uniform are a pair of brown & orange striped stirrups. Light wear. (35K0046)
