Offered is a professional model Joe Cronin H&B Louisville Slugger team index bat from his time with the Boston Red Sox in 1943-45. Bat features a signature barrel while model C117 is stamped on the knob.
This ash bat currently weighs 33 ounces, measures 34" in length and matches team index records with a small knob and round barrel. It exhibits signs of heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks and slight dead wood on the reverse of the barrel. Handle remains uncracked.
Bat receives 5 points for matching known player factory records and 3 points for use resulting in a final grade of MEARS A8. (B0041)
