Offered is a signed professional model Eddie Murray game used bat from his time with the Baltimore Orioles in 1989-92. Model C243 is stamped on the script barrel while Eddie's uniform number 33 is written on the knob. Murray has also signed the barrel and added an inscription reading "Steady Eddie".
This ash bat currently weighs 33.7 ounces, measures 35.75" in length and matches known player factory records with a regular knob and roundd barrel. Bat exhibits evidence of outstanding use with a very slight crack on the lower handle. Several ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the right, left and back barrel. Ball marks include black ink transfers. Cleat marks are visible on the right and left barrel. Also visible on the bat is an impression from a weighted batting donut. There is a heavy coat of pine tar on the upper handle and a moderate amount on the lower handle.
Bat receives 5 points for matching known player factory records, 3 points for use and 2 points for player use traits resulting in a final grade of MEARS A10. (B0113)
