Alan Page was simply one of the best defensive linemen of all-time. Standing 6’4” and weighing 245 pounds, “the Judge” ruled the NFC Central while leading the defense of his Minnesota Vikings.
During the time span of 1972-75, Alan Page never missed a single down of the 14 game schedule. With him anchoring the defense as one of the Purple People Eaters, Page led the Vikings to NFL Central championships in 1973, 1974, and 1976. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1973, 1974, and 1974. His career was capped by election to the NFL Hall of Fame in 1988. His uniform number was retired by the team and his number appears in the Vikings ring of honor.
