In celebrating the 100th anniversary of Fenway Park (Boston, MA 1912-2012) comes this ticket stub from the November 18, 1945 match up between the League Champion Green Bay Packers and the Boston Yanks, which occurred when club owner Tom Yawkey allowed football to be played at Fenway.
Front of the ticket features the team names, date, location and price ($3.60 with tax) for seat 2 in box 39. Rear of the ticket shows a seating diagram for Fenway Park when it was set up for football, which included additional sections and stands in front of the fabled Green Monster.
The Pakcers would prevail that day 28-0 in front of a crowd of 33,748 en route to finishing the season at 6-4 while the Yanks tallied a record of 3-6-1 in their second of 5 NFL season between 1944 and 1948.
