Featured in this lot is an Edd Roush professional model H&B Louisville Slugger game used bat from his tenure with the Cincinnati Reds and New York Giants during the 1920's. This pre-model number stick has a signature barrel and the 1921-31 period H&B 125 center brand.

This natural finished ash bat currently weighs 33 ounces, measures 32" in length and matches recorded player specifications with a regular knob and round barrel. It exhibits heavy signs of use with cleat marks, a chipped knob and MM carved into its slightly cracked handle. (Q0177)
