Featured in this lot is a Shannon Penn professional model Louisville Slugger game used bat from his time with the Detroit Tigers. Model number S218 is stamped on the barrel along with Shannon Penn and Detroit Tigers in block letters.

This galen finished ash bat currently weighs 28 ounces, measures 33" in length and matches known player factory records with a flare knob and cupped barrel. It exhibits heavy signs of use with numerous ball marks and a sizable piece of dead wood which has separated itself from the reverse of the barrel. (Q0004)
