Two of the best pitcher of their (or any) time, Warren Spahn and Whitey Ford, stand together in this vintage 7" x 9" photograph. Reverse includes: Pencil-written notations, date stamp and a St. Petersburg Times hologram.

The St. Petersburg Times traces its origin to the West Hillsborough Times, a weekly newspaper started in Duedin, Florida in 1884. This is an original photo, in many cases a Type 1 printed at the time of the event. File copies or type 2 photos are also found, and can be distinguished by the markings on the reverse.
