The Denver Broncos were one of the surviving members of the AFL. Denver is a football town through and through and follows its squad religiously.
This size "X-Large 46-48" jersey is attributed to Mike Franckowiak because of the labeling period of the Sand Knit tag and the inordinately large nameplate which once stood on this pullover mesh. Franckowiak played four years in the NFL. We turned the jersey inside out and there are still remnants of where a nameplate (measuring about 17") once stood. All of the identifiers are heat pressed in two-color formation. Diamond inserts are visible under the arms.
Sewn in the tail is a Broncos Sand Knit exclusivity tag and "X-LARGE (46-48)" tag. A sizable repair is instituted on the right shoulder near the front "3" number. Consigned by MEARS Staff.
