Golfing events are the perfect way to secure autographs of many of the great linksmen. This 1993 Western Open golf flag is signed by at least 34 participants in felt tip ink including Ryne Sandberg who served as caddy for friend Mark Calcavecchia.
Those who signed include: Mike Hebert, Dave Barr, Hale Irwin, Doug Tewell, Larry Mize, Brian Claar, Ted Tryba, Steve Stricker, Mike Heinen, Ed Fiori, Curtis Strange, Tom Watson, Andy Bean, Jim Gallagher, Russ Cochran, Duffy Waldorf, Bill Ray Brown, Ben Crenshaw, Hal Sutton, David Frost, Mark Brooks, Marco Dawson, Nolan Henke, Peter Jacobsen, Yoshi Mizumaki, John Huston, Sandberg, Calcavecchia and a few more. Nick Price, who won the event, signed the center in the middle.
This measures about 24" x 18" and a ticket from the event is mounted inside.
