Lou Clinton was a serviceable infielder who lasted eight years at the big league level. This complete and unaltered size "44" flannel jersey was worn by Clinton when he finished his career with the Yankees in 1967. "NEW YORK" is proudly displayed on front in Yankee Blue felt material while the back has the original number in place.
"Clinton 44-67" is sewn to a swatch in the collar. The tail includes a Wilson size tag and "67" in thick black marker. This practice was documented on Yankees jerseys at the time. Light staining on the reverse but there are no subtractions. Graded a perfect A10.
