Featured in this lot is a Frank Grube professional model H&B Louisville Slugger game used bat from the 1930's. This pre-model number stick has a Frank Grube signature barrel and is side written "Joe Orego 06-22-38 Sacramento Calif. BC."

This ash bat currently weighs 32 ounces, measures 35" in length and matches known player factory records with a regular knob and round barrel. Bat exhibits signs of heavy use in the form of a 16" handle crack with some separation and dead wood on the barrel's reverse which has been repaired with 7 period nails. (Q0067)
