Featured in this lot is a Tony Phillips professional model Cooper game used bat sourced directly from County Stadium during his 1989 campaign with the Oakland Atheltics. Model number C243 appears on the barrel along with Tony Phillips in script lettering.

This Gwynn finished ash bat currently weighs 32 ounces, measures 33" in length and matches known player factory records with a regular knob and cupped barrel. Bat exhibits signs of heavy use with deeply embedded stitch marks, bat rack marks and a 5" piece of dead wood missing from the reverse of the barrel. (Q0027)
