Featured in this lot is an Alex Ochoa professional model Louisville Slugger game used bat from his 2002 season with the Milwaukee Brewers. Model number C271 is stamped on the barrel along with Alex Ochoa and Colorado Rockies in block letters. The Colorado Rockies on the barrel has been blacked out and uniform number 23, which Ochoa only donned during his 2002 campaign in Milwaukee, is written on the knob in black sharpie.
This ash bat currently weighs 31 ounces, measures 33" in length and matches known player factory records with a regular knob and cupped barrel. Bat exhibits signs of heavy use with numerous ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks, cleat marks, a heavy application of pine tar and a light 3" crack through the center brand. (Q0020)
