Nobody could catch the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1960, not even the Milwaukee Braves star studded lineup. This fine ONL (Giles) baseball is signed by 27 members of the '60 Milwaukee Braves in ballpoint ink. Some of the signatures have reduced slightly through the years but most are clearly decipherable. We have linked this ball to 1960 because it includes both Len Gabrielson and Eddie Haas, only teammmates for that one season. The autograph of Al Dark further proves this ball was signed in '60. Dark was only with the Braves one season before retiring.
This ball is signed by 27 members of the '60 Braves, including: Lou Burdette, Joe Adcock, Don McMahon, Warren Spahn, Wes Covington, Chuck Dressen, Hank Aaron, Lee Maye, Al Dark, Charley Lau, Joe Torre, Al Spangler, Del Crandall, Carlton Willey, Joey Jay, Mel Roach, Eddie Mathews, Juan Pizarro, Billy Bruton, Len Gabrielson, Felix Mantilla and Haas.
