1979 Bill Robinson Pittsburgh Pirates Game Worn Home Jersey w/ Uniform Pants (MEARS LOA) Final Season of Three Year Style

Offered is a Pittsburgh Pirates home jersey dating to Bill Robinson's 1979 season with the team. Descente tag sewn to tail with a strip reading "28 44 79" while "Pirates" and number 28 are sewn to the pinstriped knit pullover along with the outline of removed lettering visible on the reverse. A pair of yellow Rawlings size Pirates uniform pants round out the ensemble with a strip reading "34 21 77" and Set 1 tag sewn inside along with numerous handwritten notations. It appears as though both uniform elements likely saw extended organizational use following their initial issuance. Heavy wear. (82G0151)
