Offered is a professional model H&B Louisville Slugger dating to Grover Lowdermilk's tenure as a well-travelled Major Leaguer circa 1916-20 which included a stretch with the infamous 1919 American League Champion Chicago White Sox plus stops with the Detroit Tigers (1916), Cleveland Indians (1916) and St. Louis Brown (1917-19). Bat currently measures 36", weighs 38 ounces and shows heavy use with "Lowedermilk" stamped on the barrel, knob & barrel end, deadwood through the barrel which has been repaired with period nails, a glued handle crack, removed handle tape & some fading to the center brand stamping.
