This is where it all started. The first regular season game for the new expansion team, The Milwaukee Bucks.
On October 16, 1968, the Bucks hosted the Chicago Bulls, dropping an 89-84 decision in front of a Milwaukee Arena crowd of 8,467. Starting for the Bucks were Guy Rodgers, Jon McGlocklin, Fred Hetzel, Len Chappell, and Wayne Embry. For trivia buffs, Jon McGlocklin scored the teams first points just 13 seconds into the contest.
This well cared for first game program is in great condition, hard to imagine finding one in better shape after more than 50 years. No marks or writing other than the totals for each quarter and the final score.
Enjoy this important piece of Milwaukee Bucks basketball history.
