This sampling of items celebrates the Hall of Fame career of Hank Aaron. The highlight of the lot is an autographed envelope, postmarked August 1, 1982 from Cooperstown, N.Y.
Items from Aaron's rookie year are as follows: A 1954 Schlitz Roster Book, a 1954 Braves Booster Club Membership Card, and a 1954 game program vs the Reds (not scored.)
Also included is the 1982 Hall of Fame induction program, featuring Aaron and the other inductees from that year; Frank Robinson, Happy Chandler, and Travis Jackson. The same inductees are part of Series 7 of Perez-Steele postcards, which also features Walter Alston, Juan Marichal, Brooks Robinson, and George Kell. All these postcards are part of this lot.
Game programs from this collection are; the scored Brewer program from May 4, 1976 when Hank Aaron hit career home run 746, and the program and ticket stub from Friday night Oct 1, 1976. That was his final weekend in baseball, Aaron's last game was on Sunday Oct 3, 1976.
A Hank Aaron Bobblehead from the Brewers and several MLB souvenir lunch bags complete this package. (40P0163)
