Offered is a Boston Celtics home jersey dating to Larry Bird's 1989-90 season with the team. MacGregor Sand Knit size 46 +3" LB & exclusive tags sewn to tail with an 89 tag while "Celtics", number 33, "Bird". Of special note is the memorial band on the upper left shoulder stirrup. The Celtics incorporated the band in solemn tribute to the death of Celtic owner Alan Cohen's wife, Joan. "Follow Through" was said to be one of her favorite sayings. The phrase is embroidered on the special band in black lettering. Moderate wear. MEARS A10. (36L0192)
