John Kassir is an American actor and voice artist who is best known as the voice of the Crypt Keeper in HBO’s “Tales from the Crypt” franchise. On November 29th, 2014, the professional staff of the MEARS Pop Culture division met voice actor John Kassir at the “Days of the Dead” convention in Schaumburg, IL. Holding his trademark Crypt Keeper paper mask, it was an almost surreal experience to hear the shrilling voice of the Crypt Keeper as Kassir spoke to his fans. Kassir signed this 16x20 photo in blue sharpie marker, with the Crypt Keeper inscription added.
