1997-98 Kobe Bryant Los Angeles Lakers Vintage Signed Game Worn Adidas Sneakers (MEARS LOA/JSA)

Offered are a pair of Adidas sneakers dating to the outset of Kobe Bryant's career with the Los Angeles Lakers circa the 1997-98 season. Size 14 sample tag sewn inside tongue of each shoe while Bryant's uniform number 8 is also embroidered on each sneaker. Custom soles were provided to prevent foot swelling. Kobe has also signed the exterior of each shoe and bears a very early, vintage signature. Heavy wear shown. Examination of images from the 1997-98 season show Kobe wearing shoes matching this style throughout the season, though it does not appear as though he debuted this all white colorway until later in the season (first documented image 04/19/98) through the postseason.
