Offered is a Gary Carter professional model Louisville Slugger team index bat from his time with the Montreal Expos at the outset of the 1980's. Model number P89 is stamped on the signature barrel.
This ash bat currently weighs 34 ounces, measures 34" in length and matches team index records with a regular knob and round barrel. It exhibits signs of heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, an area of dead wood on the reverse of the barrel and a slight handle crack.
Bat receives 5 points for matching team index records and 3 points for use resulting in a final grade of MEARS A8.
