Offered is a professional model P89 George Scott H&B Louisville Slugger dating to his tenure with the Milwaukee Brewers circa 1973-75 which has been signed on the barrel in black marker by Scott along with a "Hit Two HR" inscription. Bat currently measures 36", weighs 36.5 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks, cleat marks & Scott's uniform number 5 written on the knob along with the bat's weight of 36.5 ounces. Examination of Scott's game log reveals seven separate two home run games for George during the 1973-75 label period for this bat. After hitting the HR, Scott brought the bat home where he mounted it as part of the railing for his staircase. Mounting hole (-1/2) present on handle while a number of faded signatures are also visible on the barrel upon close inspection (-1). MEARS A8.5 (41Q0001)
