Rumblings first started in the 1964 season that Milwaukee would lose its beloved Braves to Atlanta. While greener pastures would have to wait until after the 1965 season, '64 still produced 88 wins.

Light hitting Woody Woodward wore this size "40" jersey during the '64 season. According to Dave Grob, the size matches what Woodward (6'2" 185 pounds) would have worn during this portion of his career.

The button up flannel garment shows extensive use and includes fabric pulls to the anchor stitching. "BRAVES" is administered to the front in two-color formation. The collar houses a chainstitched "Woodward 64 Set 2" swatch (some surface degradation). The tail includes a Wilson size tag. The NOB has been restored and resulted in a 3 point deduction. Situated on the left sleeve is a screaming Brave logo.
