According to our consignor, “On August 25th, 1928, my grandfather went to see the Tigers play the Yankees at Yankee Stadium. Grandpa sat where he always sat in the right field bleachers. In the 2nd game Babe Ruth hit one in the right field bleachers near where Grandpa sat. … He went to the stadium the next and asked Babe to sign the ball, which he did on the sweet spot… Grandpa told me to story every time we visited!!!
