This is a home white pull over manufactured by Southland. It is a size 48. The jersey itself shows heavy game wear with team repairs on the shoulder and front. Mike wore number 58 his entire NFL career (1976-87) all of which was with the Cowboys. The nameplate was changed at one time by the team and is now of the mesh style (-1) but the outline of the old nameplate is still evident. Dallas switched to Russel for the 1980 season so we have dated this shirt to the 1976-79 era. During this time, Mike was on both the 1977 Superbowl Championship team as well as the 1978 Superbowl team that lost to the Steelers. He was a fine linebacker and played in a total of 16 play off games during his stint with Dallas.
