Sans any player name or year code, we have dated this jersey based on tagging and style to the 1968-69 seasons. There are no signs of a 1969 NFL patch but these were not worn by all teams all season. The 1970 season debuted the names on back and this style of Sandknit tag first appears in 1968 hence the 1968-69 dating. No player is listed as having worn number 38 during either the 1968 or 1969 season. The shirt is size tagged 46 and shows some light game wear.
