Offered is a game worn Baltimore Orioles home jersey which has been restored to an Al Bumbry on field quality display jersey. Jersey was originally issued to and worn by backup catcher Floyd Rayford in 1987 as evidenced by the Set 2 1987 flag tag sewn adjacent to the Rawlings size 40 tag on the inside tail and the visible outline of Rayford's uniform number 6 on both the front and back of the jersey. At some point Rayford's uniform number 6 was replaced by Bumbry's uniform number 1 and the "Bumbry" nameplate was added to the reverse. (64R0285)
