Offered is a rare style Oakland Athletics cap which was donned by coach John McNamara in the earliest years following the franchise's relocation from Kansas City. Partial New Era tag sewn in the sweatband while McNamara's uniform number 41 is written on the underside of the brim in faded black marker. Heavy use shown with fabric tearing to the brim, which has lost its interior support. (65S0203)
