Offered is a lot of two signed items by former St. Louis Browns and New York Yankees pitcher Joe Ostrowski. The first item is a 11" x 14" photo of Ostrowski in his Browns uniform that says in sharpie To Jim Best Wishes Joe Ostrowski 1948-50. The second item is a signed check from Ostrowski to the Wyoming Area Booster Club for $4.00 in West Wyoming, Pennsylvania. Ostrowski also was a teacher out of college and taught for three years prior to joining the professional ranks. He taught after his playing days were over. (65S0062)
