Offered is a large boxing and wrestling lot spanning back to the early 1900's through the present dayconsisting of over 5,000 pieces, most of them in six filing cabinets, which are included in the lot. A majority of the collection was meticulously filed in alphabetical order by wrestler or boxer in folders by the consignor. Each folder contains mementos of the boxer or wrestler. In the folders, 40 percent of the lot are photo reproductions. Featured in the lot are vintage boxing trading cards, original wire photos, several autographs, telegrams, media press releases, old postcards, photographed images of historical boxing events, decanters, trophies, magazines, posters, ticket stubs, a large Styrofoam boxing statue and many more. Some of the featured items include an autographed blue shirt by singer Tony Orlando dated 10-16-87 from the Mike Tyson-Tyrell Biggs fight, a reproduction of the Jack Johnson memoirs along with many more.
