8" x 10" photo signed by New Jersey State & North American Heavyweight Champion Chuck Wepner who went 15 rounds with Muhammad Ali and served as the inspiration for the "Rocky" movies.
8" x 10" photo signed & inscribed by "Cleveland Middleweight Contender" Rocky Castellini. Photo also features a period lamination.
5.5" x 7" photo card of Joe Louis vs. Ezzard Charles at Yankee Stadium signed & inscribed by referee Mark Conn, who is also pictured.
4" x 6" photo signed, inscribed and dated 4/15/36 by Jimmie Black. Photo also features a period lamination.
Letter dated Feb 23, 1936 sent from promoter Sam Jordan to a fellow promoter in an attempt to arrange a bout. Letter is written on letterhead for his client, "The Fighting Two-Fisted Colored Heavyweight Fighting Harry English". Letter features an image of English as well as a listing of his accomplishments and text which reads as follows, "I have Johnny Jones, 135-140, he is the goods. He beat such boys like Tiger Walker, Steve Shea, Speedy Johnson. Stopped Mike O'Dowd in 2 Rds. Carl Fasnaugh, Louie Haynes, this boy is a colored boy fast, clever and can hit. (over) He has had 50 fights, 18 by the KO Route. Also have Young English the brother to Harry. He is a very good boy, 128-130. He has had 30 fights, 9 by the KO Route. Also have Kid Foster, 110-115 pounds, great little fighter. Has had 24 fights. Great crowd pleasers are these 3 boys. Put them in for 6 Rds., they will please. March 3rd will be OK.
