Offered is a home jersey which was donned by Chicago Cubs backstop and current New York Yankees skipper Joe Girardi during his 2000-01 campaigns with the club. Majestic MLB Authentic Collection tag sewn to tail with a size 50 flag tag while a strip sewn in the collar reads "8 50 00 2" indicating the number, size, year of issue and set. Girardi wore #8 with the Cubs in 2000 but switched to #27 for the 2001 season so it is likely this jersey also saw some action that spring. Captain's "C" sewn to right sleeve while the left sleeve features a Cubbie Bear logo patch. Heavy use shown. (B0007)
