Offered is a game worn flannel uniform from the earliest years of the Temple Owls baseball program. 1915-28 era Spalding tag sewn in collar, while the Owls baseball program started in 1927, likely dating this uniform to within the first 2 seasons of Temple baseball. Stamping next to the manufacturer's tag read "PA2740" which could indicate the year of issue and size as jersey measures 21" across the chest, which is consistent with a size 40 jersey. Temple sewn in red heavy felt to the front of jersey while the back of this grey pinstriped flannel remains blank. The pants are also constructed of pinstriped gray flannel and feature the same 1915-28 era Spalding tag as does the jersey. Heavy use shown to both garments with soiling and staining present. (D0262)
