Offered is a 7.5" x 9" sheet of period paper which was adorned on both sides by a very early collector. The front side reads "Baseball Autographs" atop the page in period cursive penning while below a collection of four signed cuts are glued to the page; Ted Williams, Tony Lupien, Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb. To the right of each signature the original collector has written each players name and notations such as "No. 9 batting av. 406" for Williams, "No. 16" for Lupien and "Home-run King total 60" for the Babe. The reverse reads "Rain Checks" atop the page in period cursive penning while beneath five stubs are adhered reading "New Fenway Park built by Coleman Bros. Corp. General Contractors 245 State Street Boston". Some tearing present on the sheet while the Ruth & Cobb cuts have some creasing as well. (D0243)
