With Billy Martin as the American League All Star skipper, Willie Randolph was one of 5 Yankees that made the All Star team. It was only fitting since the game was played at their hometown Yankee Stadium. Even with the Gotham City packed lineup, the National League still won the event.
Measuring 34", weighing 33 ounces, this cupped end bat perfectly matched Randoph's ordering records. The brown, Hornsby finish was photographically documented as a style favored by Wille. The bat exhibits heavy game use, with a multitude of ball, stitch, seam, and rack marks evident. A custom tape pattern with a medium application of pinetar is found on the handle. Uncracked, a finer example of a World Series Championship Randolph bat does not exist. Final Grade (MEARS A10).
