Offered is a detailed 9" x 11" broadside promoting Heavyweight Champion Joe Louis's first ever title defense against British Champion Tommy Farr on August 20, 1937 at Yankee Stadium, which would be named Ring Magazine's 1937 fight of the year. This broadside was originally produced to advertise a showing of the fight in a movie theater as television was not yet widely available. Broadside remains in very good condition. (A0441)
