Offered is a collection of over 1350 postcards spanning approximately 7 decades, all of which have been stored in plastic binder sheets in order to maintain their original condition. Majority of the postcards are written on and have been postmarked though there are a number of postcards which remain blank. Subject matter of the postcards is wide and far reaching as you can surely imagine with a collection of this magnitude. Also included is an edition of the Wednesday August 17, 1977 Chicago Daily News with a cover story on the death of Elvis Presley.
