This 2 button New York Mets road jersey was donned by outfielder Elliott Maddox during his 1978 campaign with the club. Rawlings size 40 tag sewn to inside of tail with Set 1 1978 flag tag and strip reading "40 78 21" indicating the jersey size, year of issue and uniform number. Team name and number sewn to jersey in blue on orange double tackle twill. Mets city logo patch found on left sleeve while Maddox has signed the body in blue marker along with an inscription reading "my 1978 jersey". (Z0015)
