This flannel New York Mets road jersey was issued to Jesse Gonder as number 12 during his 1964 season with the club. Swatch in collar reads "12-41-1964-1" and there is a Wilson size 40 tag sewn to the left outside tail. Team name and numbers are sewn to jersey in blue on orange double tackle twill. Mets city logo patch present on left arm. Gonder has also singed the jersey in black marker along with the inscription "1964 #12".

Issued in 1964 with no numbers on the front, the organization recycled the jersey for use by Jack Hamilton which required adding the front number 32 and replacing the reverse number 12 with a 32.

A pair of matching pants are also included which feature a Wilson size 34 tag and swatch reading "9-27-1964-2" indicating the pants were originally issued to Jim Hickman.
