Offered for consideration is a very rare, 1972-75 Jon McGlocklin Milwaukee Bucks Complete Game Worn Warm Up suit with matching pants. The front has been autographed in near mint black sharpie as "Jon McGlocklin, Milwaukee Bucks, #14".

Dating: Based on the design of the manufacturers tag (Sand-Knit) the dating has been verified as 1972-75 per the MEARS tagging database. McGlocklin's career spanned with the Bucks from 1968-75, and with the introduction of this tag design (1972), we attribute the era of this jacket/pants from 1972-75 as 1975 corresponds with the end of McGlocklin's career.

The tag itself reads, "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Milwaukee Bucks, National Basketball Association, by Sand Knit, Medalist Industries". The jacket contains 7 white front snaps. The letters "McGlocklin" are red on green tackle twill which have been adhered with a zig zag stitch. The jacket and pants are manufactured from sandknit fabric, the same as found on period major league baseball jerseys provided by the same supplier. The jacket shows heavy game wear, consistent with a full season or more of wear. There is light soiling along the snap path and some light staining near the area of the upper near on the reverse.

Also included are a pair of matching pants. The pants are manufactured from the same Sand Knit material, but the tag has been removed from the waistband, but the area of where the tag was removed can clearly be seen and is consistent in size and placement of other Sand Knit supplied pants from the era. McGlocklin's uniform number 14 appears on the left leg with the same white on red tackle twill as the name on the jacket. The pants show heavy game wear, but not staining. Originally from the collection of a member of the Mac Fund, McGlocklin's favorite charity, for whom he donated these many years ago.
