1920's-90's Hollywood Politics Music Silver Screen "John Rogers Collection Archives" Original Photos (MEARS LOA) - Lot of 600+

Offered for auction in this lot is a collection of well over 600 photos culled from the John Rogers Photo Archives. The focus of these pictures is directed towards some of the most famous and important contributors to the history of the human race during the 20th century in the fields of politics, music, movies, television, literature and entertainment in general. It would be nearly impossible to list every individual whose image is captured in this lot but a representative sample includes Marilyn Monroe, Arthur Miller, Martin Luther King Jr., Joan Crawford, Al Jolson, Franklin Delano & Eleanor Roosevelt, Herbert Hoover, Jimmy Hoffa, Gene Autry, Jimmy Durante, Rosa Parks, Sophia Loren, Winston Churchill, Laurel & Hardy, Sean Connery, Bob Hope, David Niven, Mary Tyler Moore and John Daly among hundreds of others. Most photos measure 8" x 10" with some smaller sizes included and feature some combination of editor's notations, affixed newspaper cutlines and date/photographer stamps on their reverse.
