Offered for auction in this lot is a Shanty Hogan professional model H&B Louisville Slugger game used bat from his time with the Hot Springs Bathers in the Cotton State League. Model number O1 is stamped on the knob while Hogan appears in block letters on the barrel.

This natural finished ash bat currently weighs 32 ounces, measures 35" in length and matches known player factory records with a regular knob and round barrel. It exhibits heavy signs of use with ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks and a 14" H-style handle crack. (Q0006)
