A little departure from the regular tobacco cards was taken when B18 blankets were produced in 1914. In many instances, the 5 1/4" square flannels were sewn together to make a full-size blanket. Many variations can be found within the set. MEARS is pleased to have unearthed a few of the prized offerings from that ever popular issue.
Featured is a stellar exemplar of the Miller Huggins blanket, with the purple variation pennants. Deep colors are exposed on this NM issue.
